Allocation of a total of $87 million in Regional Measure 3 (RM3) Capital Funds to City of Oakland, Water Emergency Transportation Authority (WETA), Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority (VTA), Sonoma County Transportation Authority (SCTA), Bay Area Toll Authority (BATA), Petaluma Transit, and Marin County Transit District (Marin Transit).
Recommended allocation of a total of $87 million in RM3 capital funds to seven projects:
RM3 Project 3, Goods Movement and Mitigation Program – $29.62 million to the City of Oakland for the Martin Luther King Jr. Way Streetscape Improvements Project (RM3 Project #3.3).
RM3 Project 5, Ferry Enhancement Program – $5.46 million to WETA for the 400-Passenger Vessel Project (RM3 Project #5.5).
RM3 Project 16, San Jose Diridon Station – $35 million to VTA for the environmental phase (RM3 Project #16).
RM3 Project 23, State Route 37 Improvements Program – $10 million to the Sonoma County Transportation Authority for the Highway 37/121 Long Term Improvements Project (RM3 Project #23.3).
RM3 Project 25, Richmond-San Rafael Bridge Access Improvements Program – $5 million to the Bay Area Toll Authority for the Richmond San Rafael Forward Open Road Tolling and I-580 WB HOV Lane Extension Project (RM3 Project #25.4).
RM3 Project 26, North Bay Transit Improvements—1) $1.04 million to Petaluma Transit for the Petaluma Transit Facility Electrification Project (RM3 Project 26.12); 2) $0.92 million to Marin Transit for the design phase of Fixed Route Electric Vehicle Charging & Maintenance Facility Project (RM3 Project 26.13).
